The highly publicized 2003 murder of aspiring model Kristine "Kristi" Johnson is explored with actress Cathy DeBuono who encountered Victor Paleologus, the violent sexual predator Johnson lost her life to, 5 years prior. DeBuono recounts how the purported filmmaker preyed on women in the Century City mall for years, luring them back to a Hollywood Hills mansion with the promise of modeling work before attacking them. Finally, we look at a short introduction to DeBuono’s documentary, which exposes the dark side of the Hollywood dream, in this episode of Crime Time hosted by Allison Hope Weiner.
